How to tell if you have an 03-04 harness or an 05-06 harness. Look at the black plug that goes to the ECU, an 05-06 harness will have 8 pink wires in the top row, the 03-04 does not.

It is possible to use an 07-10 ECU and harness on the 03-06 RR by adapting the plug connectors for the crank sensor and cam position sensor and use the later 07-10 spark coil harness.
The 07-10 RR harness will have smaller ECU plugs with 3 rows of wires vs the larger ECU plugs with 2 rows of wires for the 03-06 RR harness.
